San Antonio's Holiday River Parade & Lighting Ceremony

Saturday October 8, 2005
At 7:02 p.m. on the Friday following Thanksgiving, the switch is thrown and 122,000 twinkling lights form a magical canopy over San Antonio's River Walk. The lights shine brightly every evening through January 1, 2005. The lighting ceremony is the official kickoff to the Paseo Del Rio Holiday Festival. Find out where to stay, how to take a boat tour, where you can reserve the best place to watch and what to do during this special time in San Antonio, Texas.
