Mark Your Calendars for April in the Southwest

Enjoy a new sport in Tempe, Arizona, go back and time in Albuquerque's Entrada re-enactment and enjoy Zydeco music at Houston's Cajun Fest. There is something for everyone in the Southwest in April. New this year is Tempe's Flugtag (German for flying day), which sounds like a whole lot of zany fun. Flugtags have launched outrageous aeronautic crafts into unsuspecting bodies of water since 1991, when the first Red Bull Flugtag event took place in Vienna, Austria. Since then, there have been over 30 Flugtags held all over the world. Flugtag attracts crowds of up to 250,000 spectators, and my guess is that the Flugtag in Tempe will be just as popular.
