Sleeping in the Freddie Mercury Room, Sipping Martinis... All In Flagstaff, Arizona

We just got back from a great time in Flagstaff. We had always known the Hotel Monte Vista was an imposing downtown historic landmark, but little did we know what it was like inside. So we checked in and were amazed, not only by the history, but the eclectic decor, unique culture and... the Freddie Mercury purple, black and gold corner room. We explored the hotel, found out that 2007 will be the 80th anniversary of Hotel Monte Vista and will certainly keep up with the additions and renovations that are going on.
