The Butterflies Have Arrived - Desert Botanical Garden Exhibit in Phoenix

Monday March 12, 2007
The annual Spring Butterfly Exhibit has fluttered in to the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden. Dates are March 2 - May 13, 2007. View the butterflies Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Members receive free admission. $2.00 for Non-Member three years and older, with paid Garden admission.

Take a stroll through lush gardens filled with colorful flowers as hundreds of butterflies surround you. Open for its sixth year, the Marshall Butterfly Pavilion is a butterfly lover’s paradise. Watch as butterflies sip nectar from flowers, perch in sunny locations, and land on visitors. There are special display areas featuring butterfly host plants, and an Activity Tent where you can see the scaly-winged friends up close.
