Glendale, AZ Rallys Support for Idol Contestant Jordin Sparks at Westgate City Center

We're headed over to Westgate City Center to see American Idol on the big screen. Why? One of the youngest and most talented contestants is from Glendale, home of Superbowl XLII, the new University of Phoenix Stadium and the Jobbing.com Arena. We love Westgate and reported back from their inagural New Year's Eve bash with pictures. What a wonderful place to enjoy a home town sweetheart as she competes on American Idol!

On Tuesday, March 27, 2007, the Westgate City Center in Glendale will host another “American Idol” viewing party on the WaterDance Plaza. From 5 pm to 9 pm, “Idol” fans are encouraged to come to Westgate to show support for Glendale resident and finalist Jordin Sparks as she competes for the coveted title of “American Idol.”

Additionally, each Tuesday that Sparks is still in contention for “American Idol,” Westgate will host a similar viewing party to watch the local 17-year-old singer compete. “American Idol” features the finalists singing on Tuesday evenings, followed by a two hour voting period and a Wednesday evening live show where the contestant receiving the fewest votes is eliminated from competition.
