The largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the United States offers arts and crafts, strolling Mariachi bands, colorfully costumed Aztec dances and Mexican culinary delights, May 5 - 6. Head down to Denver's Civic Center Park. Revelers can eat their way through 350 booths featuring Mexican cuisine and outdoor-grill specialties, plus artwork and crafts. Three stages feature music continuously with authentic nortena, salsa and banda music, while carnival rides and a midway add to the general excitement. In past years there have been folklorico dancers and strolling mariachi bands, along with the Budweiser Clydesdales and a display of low-rider cars. Denver is the place to head if you want a BIG Cinco de Mayo celebration!
