As the Southwest Heats Up, The Prices Go Down.

It's getting hot in parts of the desert Southwest. And, for the traveler, that means some amazing summer savings. Check out what's currently offered at JW Marriott Resort & Spa and the Westward Look Resort in Tucson. Marriott's Starr Pass Resort overlooks the city from its perch in the hills on 50 acres of protected land inside Tucson Mountain Park. The staff leads eco-hikes and bike rides through the park, and the expansive spa offers everything from vegan product lines to three-step treatments that draw upon ancient traditions from across the globe. And, the hotel makes concessions for travelers during the summer—like unlimited golf all day and moving their twice-daily hikes to cooler times of the day.

Up at Westward Look Resort, also set high in the foothills overlooking Tucson and warmed by an abundance of desert sunshine, this resort is a rejuvenating resort environment inspired by the beauty of its pristine natural surroundings. Both resorts offer some fantastic deals and some fun activities (moonlight hiking with night vision goggles or nightly tequila rituals using house-infused tequilas for those inclined to sit around a fire pit under the stars). So brave what you think is summer heat and visit one of Tucson's top resorts. We're headed to Tucson to check out these resorts and find out more. It's a dry heat, you know!
