Surprise, AZ 2008 Spring Training Schedule and Ticket Sales - Kansas City Royals, Texas Rangers

The 6th Annual 2008 Spring Training season kicks off February 27, and tickets go on sale beginning January 5.

The 28-game schedule features multiple visits by the 2007 National League Champions- Colorado Rockies; also the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs and Seattle Mariners. All games will be played at the Surprise Recreation Campus, the Spring Training home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals.

The February 27 game will serve as the annual "Charity Game" benefiting the Surprise Sundancer's efforts in supporting youth programs in the West Valley.

Individual game tickets will go on sale January 5, 2008 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Surprise Stadium Box Office, 15960 N. Bullard Avenue and at Ticketmaster outlets at Macy's, Tower Records, Fry's Marketplace and FYE (formerly The Wherehouse). Tickets will also be available through Ticketmaster on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 480.784.4444 or 520.321.1000. A service charge will be applied to each ticket purchased through Ticketmaster.

Beginning December 10, 2007, individuals wishing to secure and purchase season tickets, 7-Packs and group packages of (25 or more seats) prior to the January 5 box office opening will be afforded ADVANCE purchase opportunities by calling the Surprise Recreation Campus ticket hotline at 623.222.2222.

Season Ticket Packages include:
7-Packs for Kansas City Royals or Texas Rangers for $77 to $126 Kansas City Royals Full Season (14 games) or Texas Rangers Full Season (14 games) for $154 to $238 Full Season Package for the entire 28-game Surprise Stadium series for $308 to $476. *Season ticket packages include free reserved VIP parking, a private reception with selected team players and priority purchase prior to the January 5th box office opening.
