When I wrote this article about hiking the White Tank Mountain Waterfall Trail, I had a great time climbing over boulders, wading in water and struggling to get to the sight of the flowing water. Yesterday on the trail I heard two guys talking to each other about the new trail... "They took all the fun out of it!" Well, fun or no fun, the trail is gorgeous. Now you can easily walk right up to the pools that form under the falls. Thrill seekers will still need to climb a boulder to actually see the falls.
