Visiting Historic Lowell Observatory in the Cool Pines of Flagstaff, Arizona

I've been to the Lowell Observatory grounds and marveled at the view of Flagstaff from high on Mars Hill, but I missed the chance to tour the observatory and learn more about the importance that Flagstaff has played as the world’s first “International Dark-Sky City.” So I was thrilled when blogger and writer, Marilyn Crain offered to share one of her passions with me and write about Lowell Observatory. She's inspired me to return and she may inspire you to make the trek to Flagstaff, Arizona on your next trip to the Southwest.
