A Spa Hater Writes Snarky Article About Why You May Hate Spas

Aha! I have a kindred spirit over at About Honeymoons. Susan Breslow-Sardone has a great little article that made me smile during an especially stressful week. And, I'm not taking my stress to the spa so don't ask!

She talks about hating spas due to: medical exams, the cost, the "new age spacey nonsense" and more. Hey Susan... how about adding these things to your list of why a person might hate spas:

• There are great places where you can donate the money you might spend on spa treatments and make a difference with your life.
• You might find yourself unexpectedly dressed only in a bathrobe in a waiting room with members of the opposite sex also naked under their bathrobes.
• A lengthy facial might just exacerbate your neck problems and hurt more than it helps
• A Spa treatment room looks suspiciously like a doctor's treatment room
• You may fall for one of those gooey spa products and then not be able to afford it once you hit the spa boutique after your treatment,

Now, as I brace myself for the stones and arrows that are sure to be sent my way, Susan, I salute you for your excellent journalism!
