Star Party Alert - Star Gazers Gather at Alamo Lake State Park in Arizona

Saturday November 15, 2008
Last night as I drove home from a local gathering, I looked up and noticed the clear sky, sparkling stars and huge moon. The Southwest is a star gazer's paradise!

On November 22, 2008 you can enjoy the Annual Night Under the Stars at Alamo Lake State Park. Alamo Lake, located on the Bill Williams River where the Big Sandy River and Santa Maria River come together, is touted as one of Arizona's best kept secrets. From 11 am – 3 pm there will be a Star Fair and Educator’s Workshop with astronomy presentations, educational booths and activities for families and educators. At 7 pm you can join other lovers of the night for the Star Party and view the stars, planets and constellations!
