Wildflowers Abound at Navajo National Monument

Tuesday June 2, 2009
Navajo National Monument, not far from Kayenta, AZ and Monument Valley is a great place right now to see high desert wildflowers. The issue? I can't seem to identify them. Have a look at our photo gallery and leave a comment here if you can positively identify the flowers in the photos.

By the way, Navajo National Monument is a great place to go to see a fairly intact group of ancestral cliff dwellings. The walk to the overlook is paved and fairly easy. More on Navajo National Monument.
