It may not be the snow sport season but that didn't stop hundreds from enjoying the Crankworx Extreme Mountain Biking Competition, heading up the mountain on a lift for hiking and mountain biking, tackling the climbing walls or enjoying the sunny decks at the pubs. Winter Park is alive and vibrant during the Summer and is clearly a great place for families.I luxuriated at the Winter Park Resort's Founders Pointe condos in The Village. With a full kitchen and easy access to all the activites, the accommodations are another great reason to bring your family to Winter Park. We topped off our stay by dining at the New Orleans inspired restaurant, Fontenot's Fresh Seafood/Grill. Great food, service and decor.
The only down side to this visit to Colorado is that I have to leave today.
