El Nativo features a Native American theme. When you enter the lobby you will be greeted by an immense Native American figural sculpture and if you look up, you will be entranced by the heavy wood beams and lazer light sun faces overlooking the lobby.El Nativo goes all out to create a Native American theme. From the historical multi-media display in the lobby to the dream catcher art in the guest rooms, there are reminders all around you that you are in a new and unique part of the United States... the Southwest.
When I was there, I found my room to be very large, the bed to be super comfy and the staff welcoming. It was a busy night and there were issues with room service, but my sense is that this is situational.
Some rooms are very quiet but if you are on the freeway side, you will hear traffic sounds. If you are bothered by this, ask for a non-freeway side room.
With an on-site restaurant, bar and exercise facilities, you need not leave the lodge once you arrive.
The El Nativo Lodge is an ideal place to stay for those who need airport access and those attending the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Convenience is one of the main draws. Because of the location, El Nativo Lodge would be an ideal place to host a meeting.
