The Hotel Monte Vista was built in the late '20's. The Monte Vista soon became the place to stay for transcontinental travelers. Located just one block north of famous Route 66, the Hotel Monte Vista has been home to thousands of adventurous and colorful characters, from bank robbers, to headlining Hollywood stars.

When tourism was on the rise during mid 1920's local residents agreed that Flagstaff needed first-class accommodations.
The Hotel Monte Vista, in downtown Flagstaff is in the center of local activity. At a minimum, you will want to walk through the lobby and imagine how it was in it's heyday.
