Saguaro Lake is a very scenic recreation area only 41 miles from Phoenix and 15 miles from Fountain Hills, Arizona. Boating, fishing, picnicing and hiking are avaialble at Saguaro Lake.
Lake Powell looks like Monument Valley after a huge flood. The rock formations are fantastic, the hidden slot canyons can be explored by kayak and houseboats can still find secluded places to tie up for the night. Lake Pleasant Regional Park covers a total of over 23,000 acres of desert. The park has a visitors' center that provides information regarding the history of the lake, the construction of the Waddell Dam and the surrounding areas. Frequent special events are hosted by the park.
Upper and Lower Lakes Mary are stocked with a variety of fish including trout, bass and channel catfish. Lake Mary Narrows Recreation Area provides excellent access facilities for disabled anglers by means of paved lakeshore ramps. Upper Lake Mary is also popular with power boaters and there is currently no motor size limit
