Photo Tour of the Sedona, Arizona Back Country

One of the pictographs was of a sun or moon, both important in early cultures. For the seasons and the telling of time, was dependent on the phases of the moon and the location of the sun in the sky. These agrarian people would place high value on the sun and moon.
