Canyon Villa Inn of Sedona - Part IIExceptions
The innkeepers do all they can to keep the inn quiet and congenial. They don't book large groups or wedding parties. They don't exclude children, but I believe most children would be bored. Too much peace and quiet!
Meals
The inn offers a selection of menus and assistance with choosing a local restaurant and making reservations. Not to be missed is their Hors d'oeuvres gathering at 5pm. Bring your own wine, enjoy excellent Hors d'oeuvres and sit out by the pool to watch the evening shadows darken the Red Rocks. In the morning at 8pm join other inn guests for a gourmet breakfast. Breakfast for two is included with the rooom. The menus vary but all are multi-course prepared fresh in the inn's kitchen. The day I was there, we started with fresh peach and raspberries topped with sorbet, indulged in a freshly baked cinnamon roll and savored warm cheese blintzes and bacon. It was enjoyable meeting other guests. Travel conversation is always lively and informative.
Recommendation
Let me add my recommendation to those of AAA (The Canyon Villa Inn is a 4 Diamond Inn)and Conde Nast. The Canyon Villa Inn of Sedona is a Select Registry Inn and is a 2004 Top Ten Inn Award winner. In my book they deserve a 5 Star rating. The Canyon Villa Inn will provide you with the quiet, hospitality and Sedona beauty that you seeking whether you want a romantic weekend away or a week's vacation to renew your spirit. The rooms are very comfortable and what amenities are not available in the rooms are available in the common areas. For the best combination of natural views and impeccable accommodations, I highly recommend the Canyon Villa Inn of Sedona.
