Rates

Rates vary by season. You can get the best rates by reserving a room early via the website.

As an example, the one bedroom creekside cottage (#19) where I enjoyed a night would rent in the high season for $395 per night. The gardenside cottages, which are equally as well appointed, go for $295 per night. Lodge rooms run from $195 per night during the high season for a king room to $245 per night for a Junior Suite with sofa sleeper. (2006 Pricing)

All accommodations are subject to the usual taxes and, in addition, the resort charges a $20 per night tip charge to cover services. No additional tipping is expected during your stay except at the restaurant.

Dining

For a quick cup of coffee, stop by the lodge in the morning. It is nice setting. Sit by the fire and plan your day. If you have questions, the friendly staff is right there to help you with your plans.

My recommendation is creekside dining. Eight months a year, weather permitting, visitors can dine right on the lawns and rocky outcroppings of Oak Creek. The creek has little rapids that rush past the restaurant. Want a relaxing place to sip a glass of wine? The restaurant's deck has little places along the railing where you can sit facing the beautiful trees and creek.

The Restaurant at L'Auberge is an award-winning gourmet restaurant in a beautiful wooded setting. The 4-Diamond award-winning restaurant specializes in gourmet cuisine. The L'Auberge Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and a sumptuous dinner offering "a la carte" selections and their famous five-course tasting menu.

The Restaurant at the L’Auberge, named "One of the top ten restaurant’s in the Southwest" by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine, has a very extensive wine list. Have a look at just one of their wine lockers as you enter the restaurant. It's huge!

The restaurant takes maximum advantage of the natural beauty of the area. Even if you are not there at a season when you can dine outdoors, the atrium windows bring the outdoors inside. Imagine, the rare snowy day in Sedona, and dining with that view!

Recommendation

Let me add my recommendation to others. Named "One of the best romantic getaways in the world" by Travel & Leisure Magazine and among "the best places to stay in the whole world" by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine, L'Auberge de Sedona does not rest on it's laurels. They strive for impeccable customer service, have beautifully appointed rooms and the creekside setting cannot be topped.

In my book they deserve a 5 Star rating. The L'Auberge de Sedona will provide you with the wooded natural setting, excellent service, gourmet dining and the Sedona beauty that you seeking whether you want a romantic weekend away, a relaxing vacation or a a place to plan that special wedding. The cottages and rooms are very comfortable. Ammenities such as high-speed wireless Internet and individually controlled heating and air add value to the luxurious cottages and rooms. For the best combination of natural creekside beauty and impeccable accommodations, I highly recommend L'Auberge de Sedona.
