About Sedona Rouge:
Sedona Rouge is virtually two small hotels on the same property. There is the main hotel with comfortable, attractive rooms (some with Red Rock views) and the spa hotel, located in the closeby spa building, designed for relaxation with ensuite garden tubs.

Things to Do:
Sedona Rouge is conveniently located for hiking (trailhead within 1 mile), for shopping (close to uptown and the trolley stops), and for visiting the famous Red Rocks and parks. It is very close to one of my favorite places, Red Rock Crossing.

The hotel offers concierge service, a full-service on-site spa, meeting rooms and a top notch restaurant named REDS. Add in a convenient pool, conversation areas and gardens and you may spend more time at your hotel than you planned.
Top Things to Do in Sedona:
During your stay you can enjoy the Red Rocks of Sedona, outdoor activities, fine dining and local festivals. More on things to see and do in Sedona.
Rooms at Sedona Rouge:
Rooms availabe include 77 twin Queen and King bed guest rooms, four suites and six spa guest rooms. Beds are luxurious with goose down feather duvets, and the Simmons Super Plush Pillow Top mattresses. Baths are large walk in overhead rain-showers or combination shower-tubs. There are some nice patios on the first floor. Other rooms have small balconies.
Amenities:
Each room has a 32’ LCD flat screen television, free wireless Internet and one-cup coffee service, small narrow fridges, nightly turndown service, and bathrobes.

You can also enjoy the Observation Terrace,an aerobic fitness studio, a kiva fireplace, sitting areas and a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi™. Guests who have reserved spa treatments will enjoy complimentary use of the Spa facilities including steam rooms, outdoor whirlpools and the men’s and women’s locker rooms with amenities.
REDS Restaurant:
On site, is an excellent restaurant - REDS. Enjoy dining at the cozy bar, the comfortable sitting area or the two areas with tables (one by the exhibition kitchen). REDS has become a gathering place for locals and offers live music Thursday through Sunday. Cuisine is modern American with emphasis on fresh local ingredients. The appetizers are especially well-regarded in the area and, as far as entrees, seafood is a great pick. I loved the seared Antlantic salmon. The restaurant is even open for breakfast! Website
Spa:
Our Spa writer, Anitra Brown, enjoyed her stay at Sedona Rouge as well. She commented, "Spa lovers will find some wonderful therapists and spa treatments at Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa." Full Information and Spa Review

Review and Recommendations:
We enjoyed our stay in the beautifully appointed room with a balcony view of the Red Rocks (3rd floor).

Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We had a little trouble figuring out all the new electronic gizmos (remote A/C controls, one-cup coffee-maker), but found the staff patient with us and answered all our questions.

If you find a tub the ultimate in relaxation, be sure and request a room with a tub or a Spa room with a garden tub. Shower-lovers will be thrilled with the large tiled showers with full overhead rain showers. If you have trouble putting on make-up without close mirror, you may have some difficulty. Even the portable make-up mirrors just didn't do the trick.

One of the big plusses at Sedona Rouge is the hotel's proximity to Sedona attractions. It's close to Uptown Sedona, has easy access to the trolley for heading down toward Tlaquepaque and your jeep trip can be arranged so that you are picked up right at the hotel. If you need to stock up on snacks or necessities, Safeway is right across Rodeo Road. Also, if you are looking for a good budget restaurant, Angel's Mexican Food is just across 89A and serves authentic and fresh Mexican cuisine.

Sedona Rouge is on my "must stay" list for another visit to Sedona primarily because of the attentiveness of the staff and the on-site excellent restaurant.

With some prior planning such as asking for a Red Rock view room and requesting a tub (if that's to your liking), your stay at Sedona Rouge can be an integral part of a fantastic Sedona experience.
