The Desert Botanical Garden hosts one of the world’s finest collections of desert plants of the Southwest. The Garden is a fun place to explore no matter what the season.

In early spring there are often special delights with butterfly exhibits, wildflowers and blooming cacti. Our photo tour will help you know what to expect on your visit.

Hours

The Garden is open seven days a week, year round except for July 4 and December 25.
Hours:
October through April - 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
May through September - 7 a.m.-8 p.m.

Entrance Fees
Garden Members are admitted free
Adults - $10.00
Seniors - $9.00
Students (13-18 and college with ID)- $5.00
Children (3-12)- Children under 3 are admitted free $4.00

Trails and Tips for Visitors
Phoenix City Guide, Judy Hedding, provides a detailed explanation of the trail system at the Desert Botanical Garden.

She suggests that visitors:
- Wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Drink plenty of water.
- In the winter temperatures are cool in the morning and warm during the day. In the summer take advantage of cooler morning temperatures.
- Wear sunscreen and a hat.
- Leave your pets home.
