Pike's Peak - 14,000 Feet in the Sky

Pike's Peak, Colorado

Beautiful Pike's Peak

Pike's Peak Country Visitors Bureau
Pike's Peak, Colorado is a 14,000 climb via car or cogwheel train, or for the very hardy, a hike or run. We opted for the cogwheel train and the unbelievable views as we slowly climbed above the clouds. Once at the summit, visitors enjoy a gift shop, special high-altitude donuts and some breath-taking (and it felt that way!) views.

Believe it or not, there is a running marathon up Pike's Peak. You may see people training in the early mornings.
