Red Rock Fantasy: Red Rock Fantasy is a festival of more than a million lights providing a holiday tradition in the shadows of the beautiful Sedona Red Rocks. Now in its seventeenth year and boasting forty-five displays created by families from the Southwest, the festival will wow the little ones.

A portion of the proceeds benefit the nearby Institute of EcoTourism. The families who build the displays also can benefit. All those touring the lights will be given a ballot containing a route map, which will allow them to choose five favorite displays. The completed ballots may be dropped in the ballot box located in the lobby of the restaurants. The winning display will be awarded a lifetime vacation ownership through ILX Premiere Vacation Club with prizes also going to runners up in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place categories.
Enjoying the Red Rock Fantasy:
It's easy to follow the winding path through the displays. There is a route with arrows marked in reflective tape. This is a great project for the little ones - be a guide for the night. The displays are a concentration of holiday yard displays. Some are beautiful but most are just plain bright and fun.
Parking and Transportation: Parking at Los Abrigados is limited but free. The RoadRunner Shuttle Service offers additional parking with drop off at Tlaquepaque, which is adjacent to the resort.
Video Tour of Red Rock Fantasy: Enjoy the displays and viewing tips from the comfort of your computer.
Enjoying the Red Rock Fantasy:
If you are looking for a lighted display of natural beauty, this may not be your event. While you will be in the shadows of the Red Rocks, the fun of this event is the brightly colored home made displays of holiday yard art. Dinosaurs, cartoon characters and cowboys all compete for prizes. In the hour that it will take you to see the displays children will be exited by all the holiday glitter and lights. It is fun for everyone but especially great for a family outing.

Los Abrigados is right behind the little arts village named Tlaquepaque. I highly recommend stopping in for dinner, perhaps at El Rincon, and a little shopping while you wait for the sun to set and the lights to come on at the Red Rock Fantasy, just steps away.
