As I walked through the small market setting, I was struck by the vibrant colors and the depiction of Hispanic culture through the prevalence of religious themed art. If the Heard market is typical of Mexican, New Mexican and Arizona art, then The Virgin of Guadalupe and Day of the Dead skeletons and skulls are all the rage.
