1. Tucson Gem and Mineral Shows

Tucson Gem and Mineral Shows
Every February, the annual Tucson Gem & Mineral Shows attracts the best minerals, jewelry, lapidary and publication dealers from across the USA and beyond to Downtown Tucson and the Tucson Convention Center. They boast the best exhibits, the best dealers and even the best children’s events with dinosaurs, special opportunities just for children. Kids get the chance to step into the world of minerals to learn how all those colors and shapes come to be and why through educational and hands-on fun.

2. Wickenburg Gold Rush Days, Arizona

For three action-filled days thousands of visitors and participants enjoy the multitude of activities ranging from a shoot-out on Frontier Street, a rodeo, parade, arts and crafts booths and, of course, food. Head to Wickenburg for an old west experience.

3. La Parada del Sol – Scottsdale, AZ

Parada del Sol, Scottsdale, Arizona is a month-long celebration culminating in a magnificent parade and five action-packed professional rodeo performances. The Parada del Sol is a team effort of Jaycees and local volunteers who donate thousands of hours, hard work and personal resources to bring the West’s Most Western Town alive in February & March each year.

4. Charro Days - Brownsville Texas

Charro Days is the hugely popular “fiesta” staged in the border town of Brownsville each year. Although Charro Days has been around in its current format since 1938, it is rumored that the first “unofficial” Charro Days took place in the early to mid-1800s, when citizens of Brownsville and Matamoros, just across the Rio Grande River in Mexico, came together to celebrate a cooperative climate between the two nations.

This event features various culinary chef demonstrations, gourmet experiences, wine tastings, raffles, silent auctions, and the hallmark charity wine auction as set in one of the nations most revered ski communities.

You can go shopping and just enjoy the delights of the Arabian horse farms. It is an outing for the horse afficionado or just for a person that is curious about what is going on.
