Windmill Ridge, just off Highway 93 has a great little restaurant. They have an on-site bakery and are known for their delicious steaks and home-made breads. Each of the newly built cabins at Windmill Ridge has a theme. The one I stayed in was "Grandma's Feather Bed," and indeed it was comfy. With a king-sized canopied bed, fluffy comforter and whirlpool tub, no on could have asked for more comfort out in rural Nevada. The owners have done a great job of decorating the cabins with very nice touches. They can help you organize a getaway weekend.
