The Bottom Line
Shugrue's was a pleasant surprise. Often restaurants in a "resort town" do not serve customers as though they might return. Shugrue's was welcoming and the service attentive. The food was excellent and the menu varied enough to provide for all tastes.

Guide Review - Shugrue's Restaurant - Lake Havasu City, Arizona
We went to Shugrue's for two reasons. One, it was a special occasion, and two, it was within walking distance of our hotel, The London Bridge Resort. In fact, it was fun to walk over the bridge to the restaurant.We went a little early and so didn't need a reservation, although I would recommend you do call ahead. We were greeted and led to a table with a wonderful view of the boat channel and the bridge. It was close to sunset, so we were thrilled.
We bypassed appetizers and ordered entrees - pepper steak and salmon. The entree was preceeded by an excellent house salad with freshly made dressing.
The pepper steak had a marvelous pepper sauce and was cooked perfectly to order. The salmon was fresh and moist and equally as delicious.
We were allowed to take our time, enjoy the sunset and the food and savor a fine dining experience.
