When I fly in to Las Vegas, I never quite know what I want to do. Just walking the Strip is usually entertainment in itself. And, besides aren't those show tickets too expensive?

Well, a Las Vegas local let me in on a great idea. Last minute tickets at half the price! As we walked along gawking at the latest hotel creations along the Strip, we ran into a long line of people. A woman in an old-fashioned usher's uniform kept the peace. "Celine Dion tickets now sold out", she yelled. But the lines kept building.

Just like in New York, where you can buy Broadway tickets the afternoon of the show, Las Vegas has a place where folks who don't plan ahead and who want to save some bucks for the slot machines, can line up and save. Their website won't list the shows up for grabs at half price but you can get a "sneak peek" to entice you. You need to go to their box office after 11:30 a.m. each day to find out what is available.
