With warmer temperatures come swimsuit season and the inspiration to look and feel your best. Locals are invited to meet summer head-on with fiery determination to win The Phoenicians first Fit and Fabulous Summer Slimdown, a new fitness series at The Centre for Well-Being. The Centre for Well-Being has a trusted staff of fitness and wellness experts who will lead Valley residents through a physical makeover with a mix of private consultations, personal training and group fitness classes. At the end of the Slimdown competition, the person who has the highest percentage of body fat loss will earn a yearlong pass to the spas fitness center and will be refunded the entire cost of the program. Contestants participate in one private personal training session per week (8 private sessions) and then join in two additional group-training sessions each week (Wednesday night and Saturday mornings) for a total of 16 group sessions.
