Around Halloween time we start thinking of things to do to put a little spice into our October. We have found some great things to do in the Southwestern United States that will haunt you in October and beyond.Haunted Las Vegas: Now you can visit haunting grounds of Bugsy Siegel, Liberace and Elvis This is a one-and-a-half-hour guided tour featuring the dark secrets of Las Vegas. According to Allen, who consulted with Tim Cridland, a paranormal historian, there are more than 40 places where paranormal activity has been documented in Las Vegas. The tour includes stops to such sites as Tupacs murder scene, the "Motel of Death," where numerous celebrity deaths have occurred. You can listen to tales of Elvis sightings at the Hilton and Liberace still playing the piano for restaurant guests. After the tour you can see, SHOCK, where the performers do a few shocking things to get you excited.

Tucson's Frightfully Fun Walking Tour: Explore downtown Tucson after dark on a new walking tour, led by costumed guides, which is sure to send shivers down your spine. The Tucson Ghost Tour includes stops at well-known downtown landmarks said by old-timers to be haunted. Youll hear of the ghost of a man who still enjoys watching the plays onstage at the Fox Tucson Theatre; of the glowing apparitions in the Scottish Rite Building; and the many ghosts that have been seen and heard at Hotel Congress, the Pioneer Hotel, and the Historic Train Depot. Halloween in Las Vegas: If you were not aware of it, there is a direct correlation between getting naked and being scared on Halloween. I'm not sure why, but every party has some small enticement to wear as little as possible. Our Las Vegas travel writer can only relate because he has a tendency to keep the lights real low after he showers. Are you afraid to see yourself naked? You better buy a different costume then.
