Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park (Glenwood Springs): From the adventure park that introduced the U.S. to the nation's first alpine coaster and a one-of-a-kind nature-based adventure for families and outdoor enthusiasts, now you can get in the saddle and enjoy a scenic one-hour trail ride on Iron Mountain at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. The park has teamed up with Capitol Peak Outfitters allowing visitors to take advantage of the park's incredible views of Glenwood Canyon, Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork valley 4,300 feet below. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (Durango): A local mainstay in Durango and a chocolate lover's paradise, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factoryturned 25 years old on June 17, 2006. Founded in 1981 by Durango local Frank Crail, the factory is known for its extensive line of premium chocolate candies and other confectionery products, including the company's signature piece, the Bear, a paw-sized concoction of chewy caramel, roasted nuts and a heavy coating of chocolate.
